Abstract

The seventh edition of the national conference Magnates of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the XVI-XVIII Century is behind us. This time it was held under the motto Law and Lawlessness. Initiated more than 20 years ago by Prof. Ewa Dubas-Urwanowicz and Prof. Jerzy Urwanowicz, the series has long attracted the interest of researchers, and its results have been steadily published in the form of collective monographs. This edition was also very well received, resulting in the presence of more than 60 participants from over a dozen scientific centres in Poland.
